Day 1ROME – CASERTA ROYAL PALACE – NAPLES

Departure from Rome to Naples. Stop On the way for a walk with an included entrance to the Royal Palace of Caserta, the largest Royal Residence in the world, now a UNESCO World Heritage Site, which revolutionized world architecture thanks to the genius of the architect Vanvitelli. You will continue to Naples, hotel accommodation and free time for a walk in the ancient historic centre of Naples, through its narrow streets to discover San Giuseppe and San Gregorio Armeno districts, the Veiled Christ, in balance between sacred and profane. In Naples, food is culture, more than anywhere else, so do not miss the departure for a street food walking tour to discover the main specialties of the Neapolitan cuisine, at the end of which you will finally be able to understand the reasons why coffee, the “sfogliatella”, the “babà”, the “taralli” and the Neapolitan pizza have become so famous all over the world. Overnight stay at Hotel.

Day 2NAPLES – SORRENTO – POSITANO – FURORE – ATRANI

Breakfast at the hotel and departure from Naples to begin the daydream of the Amalfi Coast. The first stop will be for a walk in Sorrento, the capital of “limoncello”, located on the opposite side of the Gulf of Naples. We will leave for Positano which deserves at least one stop for a photo from above and continue with a visit to Marisa Cuomo’s vineyards and cellar. Lunch with wine tasting at a local tavern. After lunch an inevitable stop in Furore, the nowhere village, suspended between mountain and sea, where the love story between Roberto Rossellini and Anna Magnani blossomed. In the evening you will continue to Atrani for the overnight hotel accommodation.

Day 3ATRANI – PAESTUM – RAVELLO – ATRANI

Breakfast at the hotel and departure for Paestum where a stop will be made to allow entry to the Archaeological Park of Paestum, the ancient city founded by the Greeks in 600 BC, now a UNESCO World Heritage Site, still perfectly preserved. A walk that will culminate in the visit to the 3 Temples that reflect a different light every hour, due to the special position in which they were built. A visit to a famous local dairy farm will follow for a taste of the famous “Buffalo Mozzarella”, an authentic Italian pride in the whole world, produced here in an excellent way. On the way back, a stop in Ravello is inevitable. In this small village suspended at 350 meters above the sea, where you can breathe the authentic calm and tranquility of the place, all visitors will be captivated by the enchantment of its landscape. While walking around you can visit the Cathedral with its splendid decorations and you will have the opportunity to enter and visit Rufolo Villa, famous for its Gardens and Cimbrone Villa with its enchanting landscape sloping sheer onto the sea. Before leaving Ravello a stop to taste the aromatic olive oil of the area will be a must. In the late afternoon you will return to Atrani and in the evening be given the possibility to visit Amalfi there nearby, once a powerful Maritime Republic.

Day 4ATRANI - CAPRI - ATRANI

Breakfast at the hotel and departure for Sorrento, boarding port for the hydrofoil that will take us to the most famous island in Campania: Capri. Nicknamed the “Queen of Rock” by Pablo Neruda, it has always been associated with glamorous and elite tourism, a description that only partially reflects this island, that through its panoramas from above, its views, alleys and squares will make us daydream and give us intimate and unique emotions. Return to Atrani in the evening and overnight accommodation at the hotel.

Day 5ATRANI - ROMA

Breakfast at the hotel and departure for Rome. The great capital, first of the Roman Empire and afterwards of the Republic of Italy. At the end of our tour, so rich in emotions, which has proceeded through landscapes, historical periods and authentic places, the entrance to Rome is its climax. Rome is the city that encompasses all the eras, architectural styles and culture of the Italian Peninsula, in a mix of sacred and profane, sunrises and sunsets, bridges and churches, palaces and gardens, which will leave everyone spellbound. Its wealth requires many days of stay to be fully enjoyed, therefore, Goodbye Rome!
