Day 1WELCOME TO CAMBODIA!

Arrival at Phnom Penh airport you will be greeted by our guide. The guide and driver will assist you with the luggage and you will be transferred to the selected hotel. (recommended flight arrival in the morning)
In the afternoon, start the tour of the Central Market built in 1937 during the French colonial period, in Art Deco style and painted in bright ocher color. Renovated in 2011, it is now back to its former glory and houses stalls selling gold and silver jewelry, electronic equipment, clothing, fake watches and bags, food and souvenirs. Then, Wat Lanka, one of the oldest pagodas in Phnom Penh. It was established as a sanctuary for the Holy Scriptures and a meeting place for Cambodian and Sri Lankan monks. Towards the Independence Monument, modeled on the central tower of Angkor Wat. It was built in 1958 to commemorate the country's independence from France in 1953. It also serves as a memorial to the Cambodian war dead. Wreaths are worn here on national holidays. The last stop is the 68,000-square-meter Aeon Mall that sells well-known brands, household items, and groceries.

Day 2PHNOM PENH

Breakfast at the hotel. This morning, learn about Cambodia's dark and recent history at the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum, a former school converted into a detention center during the Khmer Rouge empire. This is an important visit for learn about the history of the country. The rest will visit the Russian market, the largest in Cambodia, where everything from carvings to jewelry, clothing and souvenirs is sold.

Then we enjoy lunch at a local restaurant with delicious Khmer food.
In the afternoon, we visit Wat Phnom, a beautiful hilltop temple with manicured gardens, followed by the Royal Palace and the Silver Pagoda, named for its 5,000 silver tiles that cover the floor of the pagoda, known for his collection of gold, silver, crystal and the bronze Buddha statues.

The day will end with a sunset cruise on the Mekong River before returning to your hotel.

Day 3PHNOM PENH - SIEM REAP

Breakfast at the hotel.
In the morning transfer to the airport (flight 1 hour) or to the bus station (bus 6 hours) (depending on the alternative you decide) to go to the next destination, Siem Reap.
Arrival at Siem Reap airport and you will be met and transferred to the hotel by our guide.

In the afternoon, start the half-day Artists D’Angkor tour, established to support Cambodian arts and crafts, and to help young people find work in their local villages by practicing traditional arts. We will continue with the visit to Wat Thmei, one of the death camps and the resting place of many of the victims killed during the Khmer regime.

Our last stop takes us to the Old Market to learn about Siem Reap's now thriving downtown in the oldest market in the city. Take advantage of some souvenirs to take home.
Enjoy dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 4SIEM REAP

Breakfast at the hotel.
At 8:30 am your guide will pick you up at the hotel reception and take you on a guided tour through the history of Angkor. The first stop is the South Gate of Angkor with its huge statuary faces, welcoming you to the ancient capital of Angkor Thom, built in the late 12th century.
Then we will go to the Bayon temple, unique for its 54 towers decorated with more than 200 smiling faces of Avolokitesvara.

We continue to Baphuon, it is a kind of artificial mountain that was recently reopened after years of restoration, and beyond the Royal Enclosure, we will also visit the Terrace of the Elephants and the Terrace of the Leper King.

The last temple of the morning is the popular Ta Prohm temple, built in the 12th century the temple has largely been left in its natural state since its "rediscovery" by French explorers. Surrounded by jungle, its labyrinth of stone corridors are covered by the roots and branches of trees, a famous image for being the place where The Tomb Raider movie was filmed. A traditional Cambodian lunch at a local restaurant will recharge your batteries before afternoon activities.
In the afternoon we will visit the magnificent temple of Angkor Wat. Built during the reign of King Suryavarman II in the early 12th century. Angkor Wat was built to represent Mount Meru, the Hindu / Buddhist home of the gods. It is the most revered temple in the place and the largest religious monument in the world. Inside the temple, the walls are covered with stone carvings and bas-reliefs that are absolutely awesome. Your guide will explain the history of its details and give you plenty of time to explore the temple grounds and corners.

For a special night and farewell in Siem Reap, we invite you to see a show at the Cambodian Circus. More than a circus, Phare artists use modern theater, music, dance, and circus arts to tell unique Cambodian stories.

Day 5SIEM REAP - DEPARTURE

Breakfast at the hotel.
At the indicated time, our guide will pick you up at your hotel and you will be transferred to the airport to take the flight to your next destination.
